The community was ready to roll Saturday as the new Co-operative Bike Park officially opened, bringing riders, families and plenty of excitement together for a celebration of active recreation.

Evergreen Co-op was proud to support the project, helping create a new space where local children, families and cycling enthusiasts can get outside, be active and enjoy a place built for fun and connection.

The opening celebration had something for everyone. Heads Up Entertainment brought the excitement with an impressive stunt show, as skilled riders took to the park to demonstrate their abilities and entertain the crowd.

To keep the excitement going throughout the day, bikes were given away at regular intervals, approximately every hour, giving several lucky riders the chance to take home a new set of wheels.

There was plenty of food and community spirit as well, with Forties cooking up food for those attending the celebration. With the smell of food in the air, stunt riders putting on a show and families checking out the new park, the opening had all the makings of a memorable community event.

For Evergreen Co-op, supporting the Co-operative Bike Park is about investing in the community and creating opportunities for families to spend time together. Community spaces like this give children a place to be active, build confidence, develop new skills and, most importantly, have fun.
