Have a home project you've been dreaming about but aren't quite sure where to start? Whether you're planning a renovation, tackling a DIY project, building something new or simply looking for some inspiration, Evergreen Co-op’s Home Centre team is inviting the community to “Plan Something Great.”

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m., the Evergreen Co-op Home Centre in Rocky Mountain House will bring together local suppliers and professionals for an afternoon designed to help residents turn their project ideas into plans.
This free event will take place at the Lou Soppit Community Centre, located at 4733 54 Avenue in Rocky Mountain House.  Visitors will have the opportunity to meet suppliers, ask questions and learn more about the products and services available to help with their next project. Whether you're a seasoned DIYer or someone who has been staring at a project wondering where to begin, there will be people on hand to offer ideas, information and guidance.
But this isn't just about home improvement.

The “Plan Something Great” Day is also Evergreen Co-op’s way of saying thank you to the community for its continued support. Guests can enjoy refreshments and snacks while visiting with suppliers and the Home Centre team.  And, of course, there will be some fun along the way, including giveaways, prizes and a special “big announcement” planned for the afternoon.
