Evergreen Co-op’s Home Centre in Rocky Mountain House hosted Plan Something Great Day on October 1, bringing community members, contractors and suppliers together for an afternoon focused on home improvement, building and project inspiration.

The public portion of the event ran from 2–5 p.m., giving customers an opportunity to connect with suppliers, explore products and services, and get ideas and advice for upcoming projects. The Evergreen Co-op Food Store in Rocky Mountain House supplied the food and drinks for the event. 

They also announced their "Ugly Kitchen Transformation Contest", inviting customers to bring in photos of their “worst and ugliest” kitchens for a chance to receive a discount toward their next kitchen. The lighthearted contest highlighted the Home Centre’s ability to help turn even the most dated spaces into something new. 

Following the public event, an invitation-only contractor event brought together local contractors, suppliers and industry representatives for an evening of networking and connection. With numerous suppliers, the event provided an opportunity to learn about products, services and resources available to help contractors and their customers get projects started.

The event was another opportunity for Evergreen Co-op to bring customers and local businesses together while highlighting the expertise, products and partnerships available through its Home Centre.
