If you live in the Rimbey area and enjoy trying new recipes, our Cultured Chef program may be just what you're looking for!

Evergreen Co-op & FCSS have partnered together to create this new program to learn about diverse cultures, traditions and heritage. Once a month we will present a new recipe and meal kits to prepare this cultural meal will be available to purchase.

This month's featured recipe will be available to order from Evergreen Co-op in Rimbey starting Monday, March 28th to Friday, April 1st, 2022. Before you order your Cultured Chef Meal Kit, please read the rest of the details below on how this program works.

This month's featured recipe is from Nepal and it's called Chana Masala.

How do I order a Cultured Chef Meal Kit?

Before we tell you how to order this exciting new meal kit, please check your pantry as there are some ingredients in this recipe that are not included in this kit. You will need to provide: Salt & Canola Oil.

This month's Cultured Chef Meal Kit will come with the following ingredients:

Chickpeas & Ginger
Garlic Cloves & Cilantro
White Onion & Tomatoes
Chana Masala Powder
Cumin Powder, Chili Powder
Coriander Powder, Cumin Seeds
Turmeric Powder                                                                                                                                                                             

You can order this Cultured Chef Meal Kit in 2 servings. Please call our Grocery Department to order at 403-843-2258.  Place your order before 11am for same day service. Your pre-ordered Cultured Chef Meal Kits are available for pick up in the Produce Department. Delivery to your home is also available on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, within town limits. This option will need to be arranged at the time of order and you must be home to receive this delivery.
