Edwards Garage challenged Evergreen Co-op to participate in the “Bury the Broncos” Challenge, part of Ford’s national Load Up for the Common Good campaign. While the goal may have been to bury the Bronco, Evergreen Co-op was more than happy to dig in, especially when it meant helping local families.

Evergreen Co-op took up the challenge by collecting donations through our “Good Buy to Hunger” bags. These ready-to-go bags are filled with non-perishable food items and can be purchased at the Co-op throughout the year. Simply grab a bag and bring it up to the cashiers, and your donation will help support those in need. Evergreen Co-op works with local food banks to make sure these donations stay close to home and reach people in our communities.

It was a little friendly rivalry with a big community purpose. Several local businesses were challenged and rose to the occasion, turning a fun competition into an opportunity to give back.

Thank you to everyone who helped Evergreen Co-op “Bury the Broncos” and, more importantly, helped fill local food bank shelves and support our neighbours.
